Small Groups
A Care group is a safe and encouraging community of people that meet weekly under the care of a trained care group leader to:
- build authentic relationships
- learn how to apply the Bible to life
- help you discover your role in fulfilling the Great Commission while serving God and others
- raise up leaders for starting new care groups
- celebrate life as a Christian
How many people are in a Small Group?
5-10 people is the ideal size. Jesus set the standard at 12! Once small groups grow much beyond that we help them find ways to multiply into more groups so that more people have the chance to be part of one.
Are all Small Groups the same?
No. Most of our groups are connected by life stage or common interests. Our primary focus for married couples is for them to be in a group together. We also have mixed groups with couples and singles. We have groups specifically for men, women, singles, new believers and people who are seeking answers to their questions about faith.
What do Small Groups study?
Each group studies different subjects, but the topics often range from a focus on prayer to in-depth Bible studies, to basic Christian beliefs, to current life issues.
Do I have to be a church member to be I a Small Group?
No, although we encourage everyone to look into becoming part of our church family, small groups are open to anyone, whether you are a member, regular attendee, or none of the above.
How often do they meet?
Relationships take an investment of time and effort so we encourage our groups to meet every week.
Is there childcare?
Many of our Small Group homes have children and encourage others with families to join them.
How do I join a group?
Ask your friends what Small Group they are in and join them!
